Love Always, Carol – November 9, 2007

Happy Friday!

As we move into the holiday season of perceived hustle and bustle, I realized – uh oh – it’s time to get my holiday cards prepped. Which led to finding the list of who I send them out to, which led to what do I plan to say – a message to everyone, something personal to each? Choices…choices. That led me to the closing lines in the correspondence. There are so many choices on closing a correspondence and often the choice is whether it’s a formal or informal letter or e-mail. People close with: Regards, Sincerely, Sincerely Yours, Thank You, Take Care, Peace, Love, Love Always, and a variety of other choices. I most often close my correspondence with ‘All My Best’ – wishing the person receiving my e-mail/letter truly all my best wishes for them.

A very good friend of mine signs hers as Love Always. Well, actually it’s a variation of that. She signs it:

Love All Ways,

What a fantastic gift that is to sign loving you all ways. It is so freeing and powerful as it allows you to be yourself and still be loved. There is no judgment on I will love you if you do A, B, or C for me, I love you All Ways . I love you for being an individual. I love you for being different from me so I have a new perspective on an old story. I love you when I irritate you. I love you when you irritate me. I simply love you because you are a living being who has a rare gift to share with the world.

How wonderful it would be if we all chose to LOVE ALL WAYS. Allowing everyone to walk their path and for us to walk ours.

Loving in ALL WAYS allows each of us to not harshly judge ourselves or others.

Loving in ALL WAYS allows you to view the world from the eyes of love, and doing simply that will change your reality.

Loving ALL WAYS empowers us to make the right choices for ourselves.

Through loving ALL WAYS we are empowered to create our lives in our best light. We choose who to work with and for. We choose who to allow into our inner circle. And we choose who to let go of yet still love ALL WAYS from afar as perhaps their path has taken a different turn than ours.

I invite you to go through the upcoming week in a mindset of loving ALL WAYS.

Go through the week:

With a big smile on your face emitting your inner love for yourself and others.

Laughing and simply enjoying each moment as you know you are filled with love in ALL WAYS.

Facing your challenges, knowing they are just moments in time and see these challenges through LOVE IN ALL WAYS.

I am so grateful for my friend who chooses to LOVE ALL WAYS and thank her for such a wonderful way to examine love always.

Don’t Worry, Be Happy – November 2nd, 2007

November 2nd, 2007 06:28 am by Carol

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to NovemberQuote of the day: “If you ask what the single most important key to longevity is, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress, and tension. And if you didn’t ask me, I’d still have to say it.” ~ George F. BurnsDo you remember the ’80s song by Bobby McFerrin “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”? That song used to drive me crazy!! It was so over played on the radio and then when I did hear it, it would go through my head the rest of the day.Recently I heard it again and it hit me differently. Instead of thinking ‘stop playing that song’, I found myself thinking what a great song to get stuck in my consciousness. Let’s review the lyrics. Here is a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don’t worry be happy

In every life we have some trouble
When you worry you make it double
Don’t worry, be happy……Rather than worrying about your troubles (contrasting experiences to what you do want in your life), focus on being happy and seeing the positive in that situation. Here I give you my phone number
When you worry call me I make you happy
Don’t worry, be happyRather than spending the time to worry, call a friend who will lift you up, inspire you, and simply laugh and have fun with you.Ain’t got no cash, ain’t got no style
Ain’t got not girl to make you smile
But don’t worry be happyCause when you worry
Your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
So don’t worry, be happy (now)…..Focusing on the ‘have not’s’ will only assist you in staying in a state of worry.Listen to what I say
In your life expect some trouble
But when you worry You make it double
Don’t worry, be happy……Don’t worry don’t do it, be happy
Put a smile on your face
Don’t bring everybody down like this
Don’t worry, it will soon past
Whatever it is Don’t worry, be happyIn your life expect some trouble (contrasting experiences) as without those contrasting experiences, how would you be able to determine what it is you truly do desire. Understand that might be today’s reality, but when you refocus on a better feeling, it will soon past – just like the song says.

I invite you to go through the next week in happiness and when a worry thought enters your head, immediately replace it with a thought that makes you happy – a loved one, a pet, a funny movie, and a beautiful sunrise – as there are millions and millions of happy thoughts out there for your picking.George Burns, who lived to be a 100 years old, lived a life of laughter and brought joy to so many people. So I invite you to truly think about today’s quote of the day and take it to heart.Looking for a way to stay focused on Living Life Fulfilled?
