It’s All In Your Head

  Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever truly taken notice of what you say? Have you every truly taken notice of what you think about? Have you ever truly taken notice of how you feel?

When it’s a rainy day are you enjoying the sounds as the rain hits a surface? Are you breathing in the fresh scent that is distinct to rain? Do you notice how the weather makes you feel?  Do you think about playing in the puddles? Or do you think about tracking in mud?

When you watch the news about our current state of economy, do you take notice on how it makes you feel?  Does it invigorate you and motivate you for inspired action on change?

I absolutely love that we all get to choose how we see life.  You get to choose how to see the world at large. You can choose to see the upside or downside of life. You get to choose if you see life through loving eyes, or fearful eyes. You get to choose, so choose what makes you feel great. Choose what makes you think highly of yourself and others. Choose what makes you speak highly of yourself and others. Choose your life from a space of love.

 Quotes of the day:

”If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.”  ~ Peace Pilgrim

“You can not always control circumstances, but you can control your own thoughts.: ~ Charles Popplestown

“Change your thoughts, and you change your world.”  ~ Norman Vincent Peale

“The more man meditates upon good thoughts, the better will be his world and the world at large.”  ~ Confucius

For the next week I invite you to fill your head with:

Thoughts of joy – if are currently living your dream life, be grateful and celebrate it.

Thoughts of joy – if you are currently dealing with contrasting experiences, be joyful that they are there to show you what you don’t want as then you can move your thoughts towards what you do want.

Thoughts of joy – when you find yourself in a moment of judgment (yourself or others), choose to replace those thoughts with thoughts that bring you joy.

Mostly, I invite you fill your head with thoughts of love. Love for yourself, love for your family, love for your friends, love for the planet, love for humanity, and simply choose that “LOVE IS”.  When faced with a challenging situation, ask yourself what would love say, think, or feel.

I send you this message to fill your head with joyful thoughts of love, peace, harmony, and absolute abundance in every aspect of your life.

What Did You Say?

Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever noticed that a particular word that makes you smile might make another person cringe? Similar to how the smell of wet grass after a spring rain might make some people feel light hearted while others are thinking allergies. Words are powerful and when used to your benefit, such as affirmative words, they can be used to lift you up. Used to your detriment such as ‘that was dumb, I failed, you were wrong, etc., etc.” are equally powerful and can continue to hold you down.

Certainly a positive word is Joy. And I often accentuate that word when given a chance. EnJOY your day. Have a JOYous day, etc. I even have it written on my bathroom wall I like it so much. A good friend of mine is named Joy. Another good friend is Jim who has quite the sense of humor. When he visits, he wants to know where his name is on my bathroom wall and often signs his emails EnJIM. He jokingly cringes at Joy and smiles at Jim, so it just shows you words are a personal choice. I have so much fun with the Joy/Jim conversation and often laugh a lot due to it.

The importance and power of words is what it means to you personally. A word that may have a negative connotation to me, might bring a smile to your face. So pick words that make you happy, smile, laugh, giggle, smirk, and simply elevate your spirits to your highest good.

Quotes of the day:

“Kind words are short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”  ~ Mother Teresa

“Perhaps you will forget the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them for a lifetime. ” ~ Dale Carnegie

“Words are the key to the heart.”  ~ Chinese Proverb

“Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the sees of either success or failure in the mind of another.”  ~ Napoleon Hill

For the next week, I invite you to:

Be aware of your self talk. Do you choose words that lift you up? Or do you use words that perhaps bring you down?

Become aware of how you talk about situations in your life? How often do you say things are ‘hard, impossible, tough, etc’? Reframe those situations from hard situations to opportunities to expand your consciousness.

Celebrate the positive words you catch yourself saying as being aware of them will help make that your natural self talk.

Celebrate the times you catch yourself with negative self talk as awareness allows you to shift into a positive state.

Mostly, I invite you to choose words that let you show the world how truly amazing you are. Choose words that are gentle, kind, loving, care free, hopeful, trusting, empowering, beautiful, amazing, and simply make you smile.

Have a Carolful kind of week until next time.
