Connect the Dots

Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever done the puzzles of connecting the dots? As a kid, they were one of my favorite puzzles. I loved watching the picture take form as I connected the dots. What would it turn out to be? Some were easy. Some were more intricate, but all of them were fun. I haven’t done them in years, but it brings back fond memories of imagination and play.

It made me think of the connections we make daily and the connection to all. Each day we choose which path to walk, which thought to think, and which feeling to hold. Minute by minute, dot by dot, we create our picture of how the day will take form.

As you go through your day, consciously choose to remain connected to the energy flow. Consciously choose to be connected to joy, love, peace, and abundance. Consciously choose to connect your dots in making a perfect day, dot by dot, moment by moment.

Quotes of the day:

“When we get too caught up in the busyness of the world, we lose connection with one another – and ourselves.” ~ Jack Kornfield

“Gardens, scholars say, are the first sign of commitment to a community. When people plant corn they are saying, let’s stay here. And by their connection to the land, they are connected to one another.” ~ Ann Raver

“The conditions you need to be a good goalkeeper are exactly the same conditions you need to be a good sculptor. You must have a very good connection, in both professions, with time and space.” ~ Eduardo Chillida

“In each of us, there lies a divine connection to a power more powerful that hate for violence. Today is the day to attune to that power and use it on behalf of peace on earth.” ~Marianne Williamson

For the next week, I invite you to connect to:

Peaceful feelings as when you bring peace to yourself, you share that peace with the world.

Loving thoughts as when you bring love to yourself, you share that love with the world.

Trusting yourself as when you trust yourself, you are open to trusting others.

Having fun as when you are having fun, you are completely plugged in to your highest good.

Mostly, my wish for you is to connect to your truth as a peaceful, loving, joyful, giving, and all around amazing person that you are.

Until next week, enJOY connecting your amazing dots!

Hugs,
~Carol

 Did You Know…

Christian the Lion

Of the great connection between man and animal? Here is just one example. In the late 60′s, two London men bought a zoo-born, 35-pound lion cub named Christian. For a year they raised him in urban London until he became 185 pounds. They took him to Africa where he was introduced to the wild and taught how to survive. After hearing that he was fully immersed into the wild, had cubs, and had become the leader of the pack, the two men decided to return to Africa to visit. They were told that Christian wouldn’t remember them and he hadn’t been seen in months – they chose to visit anyway.

The caretaker greeted them and said Christian arrived at camp the night before and was waiting for them on his favorite rock. The men called Christian’s name and watch the video to see the rest.

Connection is powerful when heartfelt.
