Will and Grace
Each week I never know when my affirmative message will come. Sometimes two or three come at once. Other time’s its Tuesday night or even Wednesday morning. This message came to me as I drove to visit my mom and family for Thanksgiving last night. The television show ‘Will and Grace’ popped into my head and I smiled as I thought of some of my favorite episodes as I loved that show. It wasn’t until that moment that I realized the significance of the title of the show, will and grace.
If we chose to live our lives as will and grace, how amazing would they be?
So this week I’m inviting you to be will and grace. I’m asking you to live your life with purpose, passion, and determination – will.
I am asking you to live your life with ease, beauty, gentleness, and love – grace.
Quotes of the Day:
“So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.”
~Christopher Reeves.
“There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul.”
~Ella Wheeler Wilcox
“Grace isn’t a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal. It’s a way to live.”
~Jackie Windspear
“By “guts” I mean, grace under pressure”
~Ernest Hemingway
“Gracefulness has been defined to be the outward expression of the inward harmony of the soul”
~William Hazlitt
“If a man be gracious and courteous to strangers, it shows he is a citizen of the world, and that his heart is no island cut off from other lands, but a continent that joins them.”
~ Francis Bacon, Sr.
~ Gloria Gaynor
~Celine Dion
~ Sarah McLachlan
~Leann Rimes
~Olivia Newton John
For the next week, I invite you to see your highest self through will and grace by:
Allowing your dreams and desires to soar and releasing fear of not living up to your highest self.
Appreciating every experience you have with determination that the contrasting experiences are moments of time and be graceful through them.
Being gentle with yourself as you allow your greatness to shine through as the hiccups along the way are just that – hiccups.
Honoring others will and grace even if their way of expressing themselves is completely different than your own.
Serving others who may have lost their grace and allowing them to realize their inner will and grace.
Mostly, I invite you to dream big, love big, and give big willfully and gracefully.
Until next week, have an amazing Thanksgiving filled with will and grace – oh and add heaping serving of humor to the menu, just like the sitcom.
Hugs,
~Carol

God i remember Gloria Gaynor very well and what a awesome performer. I Will Survive helped me get through a bad break up and years later he came back looking to get back together and I told him Oh well now go… I will survive.
