Time After Time

Do you catch yourself saying statements such as: There is not enough time in the day? Or, I don’t have time for that. How about, I wish I had time to do that or I’m overbooked. I must admit, every now and then I allow that ‘I don’t have enough time’ bug to creep into my experience and when I recognize that happening, I simply respond by saying “there is always enough time to do what I love.”

When you live from a space of ‘there is always enough time to do what I love’, you’ve stepped into empowerment. You have chosen to live in the moment and not worry about the ‘to do list’ as you know there is always plenty of time. You see those old statements simply as excuses that keep you from stepping into your greatness and you’ve chosen to live your highest self.

This doesn’t mean there are parts of life that are ‘have to do’s’ – going to your job, making dinner, etc. Yet it does mean you’ve chosen to see every minute of your day as precious and loving and you have chosen to find enjoyment and peace with the now moment. Time after time after time, you choose from a space of love what is next. And when you choose from love, time is just a four letter word.

Quotes of the week:

“Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.”

~Henry Van Dyke

“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”

~H. Jackson Brown Jr.

“The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.”

~Albert Einstein

“Life is all about timing – the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable becomes available, the unattainable – attainable. Have the patience, wait it out it’s all about timing.”

~Stacey Charter

“Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in.”

~Henry David Thoreau

For the next week I invite you to cherish your time by:

Appreciating where you are at this moment. Whether you are reading this at work, or at home, look around your environment and appreciate this moment in time. Look for the beauty that is right there and say thank you.

Waking up in the morning and before your feet hit the floor, say “I am so excited for an amazing day ahead knowing that everything will flow in perfect timing,” or some variation of that.

Forgiving yourself when you allow that time bug to hit you as it’s just buzzing around to remind you that time is truly a perception.

Loving you, loving others, and loving life.

Mostly, my wish for you this week is to see time as endless as you live in the moment. Cherish your past experiences fondly, look forward to your future experiences with enthusiasm and excitement on what is to become. Right now, in this moment, love where you are.

Until next time, enjoy the current moment.
