Honor Your Truth
“When men speak ill of you, so live that nobody believe them.”
~Plato.
What a great quote. However, I invite you to see this quote, not from others speaking of you, but rather what you say to yourself. When you are judging yourself for decisions or lack of decisions you’ve made, live knowing your ‘true’ self doesn’t believe them. When you are judging yourself for any form of insecurity, live knowing your true self doesn’t buy it. Know you’re true self comes from a space of love. Your truth is kindness, compassion, brilliance, peace, happiness, joy, and simply living abundantly.
When you catch yourself placing negative judgments on yourself, see them for what they truly are, and that is fear. Fear comes in a variety of deceptive packages. Fear that the world won’t see your true self, fear in sharing your true value to the world, and fear in failing. For you truly can’t fail in being you. You get to make all the choices on how to live your life. Any decision you make at any moment can be changed, added on to, and even forgotten. So when you speak to yourself, speak of love, not fear.
Quotes of the week:
“If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.”
~Mark Twain
“For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.”
~ Ivan Panin
“Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the messenger will be rejected.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

For the next week, I invite you to honor your truth by:
Being gentle with yourself as you shift into affirming your value to the world
Laughing and enjoying the life you are living and allowing yourself to create an even better world through loving thoughts
Compassion for your past beliefs about yourself and past beliefs of others as when you see through the eyes of love, you know everyone is doing the best they can at that moment.
Mostly, I invite you to start your morning off from a loving space asking yourself how you see your day going that will honor your truth. As when you honor YOU, then you honor your friends, family, community, and world.
Until next week, it is an honor knowing you.
Hugs,
Carol
