First Things First
What is holding you back? Do you have a daily to-do-list that would require a week to accomplish? Are you passionate about something but don’t feel you have what it takes to create it? Do you procrastinate because the tasks at hand seem too big to grasp?
First things first….BREATHE! Step back from the endless to-do-list and breathe in the beauty of the simplicity of today. The sun will rise, shine, and then set with grace and ease today. Depending on your location, it might be sunny, it might be rainy or perhaps even snowy, but the sun isn’t worried about how the day will be. The sun simply keeps shining.
First things first….BREATHE! Step back from that dream you have but don’t know how to step into it by simply knowing today is perfect as is. Know that you don’t have to do everything at once to achieve it. Breathe in the knowledge that you are exactly where you should be in this moment and have the choice to change when you are ready.
First things first….BREATHE! Now that we’ve released the fear that shows up as frustrations, unworthiness, impatience, and so much more, we can now breathe in first things first. The first thing is to live in a space of love. Love is happiness, appreciation, gratitude, kindness, compassion, joy, friendship, oneness, now, simplicity, and life. When you come from a space of love, the endless ‘to-do-list’ isn’t overwhelming as you are able to see it one task at a time and move through it quicker. As well, you no longer beat yourself up if you don’t accomplish the entire list as you are living in love. Your dreams are exciting rather than foreboding as the fear of not being enough doesn’t exist in love. You know that all the people that you admire for their visions and creations all started with a dream and the knowing they were enough to create it.

For the next week, I invite you to first:
Be appreciative of where you are right now. Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, scared, angry, or even depressed. The awareness of your feelings allows you to see the contrast to what you do want to feel and can be that first feeling of changing to love.
Be love by releasing the need of judgment. Judgment of others choices you disagree with, but also judgment on what you have perceived as personal failures. Releasing judgment can be that first feeling of changing to love.
Be kind to yourself. See this moment as fresh and new and choose to release past beliefs that held you back and move forward in kindness for you, others, and life in general. Kindness could be that first feeling of changing to love.
Be choiceful – be aware of the excuses you use ‘to busy, to tired, etc’ and empower yourself in choices. Choose what feels right to you rather than using an excuse. If it feels right, you won’t be too busy or too tired or to anything. Choices can be that first feeling of changing to love.
Mostly, my wish for you is a week filled with ease and grace. I wish you a week that when fear arises you say first things first and breathe into your goodness, into your heart, and into the knowledge when you first live in love that you are able to shine as bright as the sun.
Until next time, you are #1 to me. How about you?
Hugs,
~Carol
