Face It!

 Face It

How are you today? Are you living the life of your dreams? Or is your life filled with hardship? Do you wake up each day eager to see what the day holds? Or do you wake up each day saying, ‘it’s just another day’? Do you face challenges as an opportunity to grow and expand? Or do you face challenges as ‘here we go again’?

Life is about choices. We each face challenges, sadness, and fears in our lives. The difference between living a life fulfilled and simply living is choosing to face life with love and see it as an opportunity to grow, expand, love, laugh, and simply be grateful for every experience. When you face adversity, face it will love. When you face sadness, face it with love. When you face hatred, face it with love. When you face victimhood, face it with love. When you face peace, embrace it with love. When you face joy, embrace it with love. When you face beauty, embrace it with love. When you face love, embrace it with even more love.

AFFIRMATION: I am surrounded by loving people and loving experiences.

For the next week I invite you to face life with love by:

Loving you, loving others, and loving life

Focusing on the silver lining in the contrasting experience

Being gentle with yourself and others knowing everyone is trying to live their highest self.

Mostly, I invite you to choose to live a life you deserve. When you live your life with kindness, appreciation, love, and gratitude, you get back all of those qualities and your life will be full of love.

Until next time, face it, you are loved and loving.

Keep living big, loving big, and laughing along the journey.

Can You Spare Me Some Change?

January 20th, 2010 10:18 am by Carol

bethechange

Wouldn’t you love to see wars end? Wouldn’t you love to see people not fighting and hurting others? Wouldn’t you love to see people not littering and being destructive to our environment? Wouldn’t you love to see (fill in the blank)?

How often do you have thoughts of changing others? Changing the world? Changing loved ones? I certainly do, but I am quickly reminded of my favorite quote, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” by Mahatma Gandhi. My second favorite quote is Margaret Mead’s “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

When you seek change, seek from within. If you see war, poverty, pollution in your outer environment, look within on how you can change. Perhaps it’s just changing your thoughts and focusing on peace, abundance, and purity. Rather than fighting war, be for peace. Rather than fighting hunger, be for abundance. Rather than fighting illness, be for health. Rather than fighting hatred, be for love. Change your perspective from a negative situation to a positive solution. Involve yourself in groups that promote positive solutions rather than fight the negative problems. I promise you, if you make those changes for yourself, your world will change.

AFFIRMATION: I am grateful for all the wonderful changes in my life.

For the next week I invite you to live your highest good by focusing on:

Peace: be peaceful in your world. Be peaceful to yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your world community.

Love: be love in your world. Be loving to yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your world community.

Compassion: be compassionate in your world. Be compassionate to yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your world community.

Appreciation: be appreciative in your world. Be appreciative to yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your world.

Forgiveness: be forgiving in your world. Be forgiving to yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your world community.

Mostly, my intention for you is to be the change for you by living a peaceful, loving, compassionate, appreciative, and forgiving life. I promise you, if you live this way, your world will change.

Until next time, remember – change starts from within.

Keep living big, loving big, and laughing along the journey.

Best In Show

January 14th, 2010 08:06 am by Carol

bestinshow

Have you ever watched a dog show? They prance around the arena in divisions of toy dogs, working dogs, by breed, etc. Each all shiny, well groomed and well behaved doing their best to show they are the best. I’ll watch them and see all the amazing different types of dogs in all shapes and sizes and wonder why does there have to be one best in show? Although the same breed might look the same, they each have unique personalities and both are most likely trying their best to delight their human friend.

To me, best in show is about being the best you. You’ll always find someone taller/shorter, thinner/heavier, younger/older, and smarter/stronger than you. But there will never be another you, so why not be the very best you. See life as a big showcase for you to strut your stuff. Strut how kind you are. Strut how unique you are. Strut how loving you are. When you are comfortable in your own skin and living the life of your dreams, you are the best in show. It’s your show, so live it, love it, and laugh with it!

For the next week, I invite you to be your best in show by:

Appreciating your strengths and celebrating them as you remember there is only one of you. There may be lots of people similar, but there is just one you!

Loving where you’ve come from as it’s made you stronger. Loving where you are at as from a loving space you can create even better. Loving where you are going knowing each day just continues to be a dream.

Living!! Don’t wait for tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year for things to get better. Don’t wait for weight loss, further education, more money to be your best. Live it now! Breathe it in now! Soak in it now! Be YOUR best in YOUR show now!

Mostly, my wish for you is to see the best in you while seeing the best in others. Life doesn’t have to be about him or me as it could be him and me if you choose to see the best in everyone.

Until next time, show you, me and the world your best!

Keep living big, loving big, and laughing along the journey.
~Carol
