Quote for the day: Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary. ~ Margaret Coussins
I trust that you are having a fantastic August week and looking forward to the weekend ahead. As you probably noticed, I start many of my affirmations with I am so happy and grateful now that……
Living in a space of appreciation and gratitude can quickly elevate your state of mind to one of happiness and joy. It’s easy to be grateful and appreciative when we’re having a great day and things are going the way we planned. But how about those days when you are out of alignment and living in a space of lack, disappointment, or any negative state? That is where the challenge can be as we spiral further into our negative state – and that is OK too if that is what you are feeling.
However, if you aren’t enjoying that moment of negativity, I invite you to shift your consciousness with gratitude and appreciation. We often forget of the little things to be grateful for when we are having life changing events or in situations that are uncomfortable. So live and breathe gratitude and appreciation. Easy when you are already there, but when those discouraging moments come up (I know I have them), pause, and say to yourself something you are appreciative of and/or grateful for. Here are just a few ideas of gratitude and appreciations on days you need that extra pick me up. I am grateful for the rain as it makes everything green and lush, providing nourishment to so much life.I appreciate all those I invite into my life as they are reflections of what I need at the moment.
I am grateful for (supply whatever is challenging to you at the moment) for the contrast to help guide me to what I truly desire in my life.
I appreciate my health, family, and friends.
I am grateful for the ability to choose my reality.
Your gratitude and appreciation should be in your words from your heart.
Looking for a way to stay plugged into the state of gratitude and appreciation, surround yourself with people who lift you up, inspire you, support you, and simply love to laugh and have fun.
Feel free to post to the message board on what you are grateful and appreciate or ideas for others to use. Have a fantastic weekend and until next time. All my best
