I was just sitting here at my laptop mentally taking stock of how much I have to do today and how little time I have to do it in, and I heard the ping that I had received another e-mail. My stomach dropped a little thinking, “Now what?  Another person probably wants something else from me and I’m already swamped!” Instead I found your lovely message and realized that I can defy the odds and do my best to finish what needs to be finished – plus, as it turns out, the world will keep turning if some things have to wait for a while!  I’m smiling now! “I have come to know Carol Miller through a Meetup she organizes called Positive Focus. Because of distance and other logistical barriers, I have not been able to attend the meetup in person. However, for quite a while now I have been receiving her weekly email messages that she sends to members. I look forward to these inspirational messages from her, and I often read them more than once because they are so incredibly helpful and meaningful to me.  Each week after I read her message, I usually email her and thank her for all the thought, wisdom, and hard work that went into writing it. I have such confidence in Carol’s abilities to help others, that when I was in a recent personal crisis over a health issue, I emailed Carol and asked her for her help. I didn’t go to friends or family; I went to Carol. She was 100% there for me, as I knew she would be.
