Yet another day in paradise spreading love one hug at a time. We had 11 huggers and several people joined us to give hugs.

Some of my favorite memories of today:

Three of this group stayed for five minutes to give out hugs. The second to the right (skirt/long hair) didn’t even want to get a hug herself at first, and then she ended up being one of them that stayed to give hugs.

 This little girl came through the line a couple times. The second time she gave each of us a Hershey kiss piece of candy and then she joined for a little bit.

People are often watching us from the second floor of Borders Book Store, so we sent Roy up to scope out the place. He gave some hugs in Borders while he was checking out the view.

Join us Sunday, September 21st for our next Free Hug event. Remember, we’re hugging it out on the first Saturday’s of the month and the third Sunday’s of the month. And Global Free Hugs is set for Sunday, October 19th!!

Another amazing summer day in Chicago. We hugged it out for four hours and it went by so fast. There were 18 huggers and some joined us along the way. Some of the memborable pictures:

Our new friends, Team Reflect, were there in full force. Check out their website for some awesome affirmative shirts! This lovely lady came through twice. I love it when they come back for more!!

August 30th Free Hugs

What a beautiful night in Chicago last night. Thousands gathered at Butler Field/Grant Park to watch the 1978 musical, Grease.

Sharyl, Myke, Joann, Dawn, and I had a fabulous time along with thousands of our closest friends. People sang along with the songs, danced, wore 50s’ costumes, and cheered loundly after a musical number finished. There were so many people that it was often hard to see the screen as people continued to seek spots to sit.  Regardless, the five of us had a great time, and Grease is the word!
