Happy New Year! We’ve said goodbye to the past and hello to the future. We set resolutions for the year. I find resolutions fun to do as it’s a great start to the New Year and I’ve actually upheld a few of them. Most everyone seems to set New Year’s resolutions, yet it seems we set them and the next question jokingly is “how long will they last?” We’ve devalued the resolution almost knowingly it will be broken.
Whether the calendar tells you it’s a new year, new month, new week, new day, or simply a new moment, you can set a resolution to show up each day as the highest vision of yourself. You can choose to let go of yesterday or even the last hour and begin anew. Fall off the wagon? Why wait for a new day, week, month, to start again, a new moment is the perfect time to be your best. Happy New Moment everyone!
AFFIRMATION: I choose happiness now

For the next week, I invite you to resolve to:
Start off each day with the intention of showing up for that day. Open your eyes, be aware of the gifts that day brings. It truly isn’t ‘just another day’; it is the only day that matters right now.
Appreciate the moment whether it’s a moment of happiness or sadness, sit with it and appreciate what it brings to your life.
Celebrate the steps along your journey rather than just the destination. We often wait until we’ve ‘made it’ before celebrating. Celebrate the steps along your path. Celebrate that through your awareness of the steps, you can side step some, jump over others, tip toe through, or take a giant leap.
Mostly, my wish for you is to realize each day is unique and special. Sure you might go to the same job, come home to the same house, but each day offers you a new opportunity to see life through a different vantage point. Each day allows you to love a little more, give a little more, be a little healthier, and simply enjoy the moment. Why wait for a new year, a new day, a new job, a new relationship, each moment is new – so happy new moment!
Until next time, wishing each moment is filled with miracles.
Keep living big, loving big, and laughing along the journey.
~Carol
